Architect degree professional#
This is formal recognition from RIBA that our degree achieves the standards needed to prepare students for the professional practice of architecture.Design goes far beyond the visual. Our degree is also validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). One of the requirements for gaining a professional architecture qualification is to study on a prescribed course.
Architect degree registration#
The Architects Registration Board (ARB) has prescribed our BSc (Hons) Architecture degree under the Architects Act 1997. Your first degree is Part 1 of your journey to becoming an architect. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your studies by working on live projects with our industry partners, and attending field trips in the UK and abroad.Īs part of the cohort joining our BSc Architecture course in 2022, you will have the opportunity to apply for an annual £1,000 scholarship for each of the three years of the undergraduate degree ( subject to conditions).
